Job Description:

Exciting Christian nonprofit organization seeking part-time support person for our Faith Missions Coordinator with tasks such as administrative duties, travel arrangements, donor/sponsor communication, light secretarial, attendance at fundraising events, etc.  Hired employee will benefit from learning about an international 501c3.  Some office time required/Some work may be done from home.

Qualifications: Applicant must:

  • Be proficient English speaker and writer
  • Be high school graduate
  • Be well-mannered, congenial, and able to work independently when given a list of tasks to complete. 
  • Have high level of self-awareness when interacting with donors/sponsors
  • Be punctual and manage time well.
  • Have some experience with data entry and use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Have an aptitude to learn operational software and social media platforms
  • Be able to adequately demonstrate gratitude and appreciation to donor/sponsors. 
  • Enthusiastically embrace the mission of the organization and the people whom it serves and be a follower of Jesus. 

Desirable: Experience with grant writing, fundraising, or not-for-profit work preferred, but not required.

Hours: Maximum of 20/week, days/times negotiable.  Some evenings and weekends as meetings & events dictate, but mostly daytime.
