Job Description:

GENERAL SUMMARY: The High School Teacher is responsible for all organization, teaching, and supervision within the area of their assigned responsibility. The Teacher will endeavor to keep the principal informed as necessary of activities, the progress of students, and the condition of the classroom. This position will participate as an active member of the school staff and pertinent parent organizations and adhere fully to the stated purposes, standards, policies and procedures of CRISTA Ministries and of King's Schools. The Teacher will carry out teaching responsibility as follows.

 

As a collaborative member  of the English team, this position engages students in rich, standards based levels of writing, text analysis, reading, and presentation.  Students will be guided toward growth in all ELA arenas and will engage in student-learning centered analysis, projects, and assessments.  This position has both full and part time possibility.

 

This position is for the 2018-2019 school year. Medical, dental and vision benefits included for Full Time status. Discount for employee's children to attend King's Schools.

CRISTA Ministries Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

  • We believe that we must dedicate ourselves to prayer, to the service of our Lord, to His authority over our lives, and to the ministry of evangelism.
