PURPOSE: Membership growth. This position is responsible for sustaining relationships with current members and acquiring new members.
DUTIES: Working with various departments and services within CMDA, this position is responsible for:
- Membership recruitment
- Membership marketing, including use of conventional and social media
- New member engagement/on-boarding process
- Enhancement of the membership renewal process
- Partnering with CMDA ministries to create and communicate membership value
- Assessing member’s needs via surveys and other assessment tools
- Research and test membership dues options
- Customizing membership options for each membership groups
- Communicating CMDA’s Mission, Vision and Value
- Analyzing success of each effort
- Other duties as needed or assigned by your supervisor
DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE TO: Vice President of Communications
MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- A commitment to CMDA’s Mission, Vision, Values and Statement of Faith
- Communications/marketing/advancement degree or equivalent experience
- Computer skills: word processing, basic spreadsheet and database analysis
- Mass communication capabilities: print and electronic
- Promotional writing skills
- Demonstrated goal, service and results orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Membership marketing and advancement experience
