Radio Luz AM1680 targets the large and growing Hispanic audience interested in family-friendly, positive programming, and you can utilize your Production and Host skills to make the world a better place. We need a proven radio professional who can contribute their talents and become a valuable team player.
$20 hr. 15 hours per week Hours: Mornings 8am-11:00am Paid Parking
Production Director:
1. Host or co-host Classificados program
2. Act as a Co-Host/Board Operator/Screener for designated programs (i.e. Comentando Las Noticias)
3. Assist Production Director with production responsibilities
4. Handle production requests for the sales department and their clients; create commercials, programs and program elements.
5. Assist in writing and translating copy for sales team.
6. Voice commercials and promos. Cast and coach other voices for commercials.
7. Develop and implement promotional and imaging ideas to position Radio Luz
8. Handle non-spot production requests including prerecording talk shows, preparing reruns for broadcast, produce programs and features and station imaging. 9. Participate in station promotions, station events, including setting up and running remote broadcasts.
Host/Board Op/ Produce:
1. Co-Host/ Board Op/ Screener of Comentando Las Noticias a. Produces the show b. Takes listener phone calls c. Coordinates on-air contests and promotions
2. Host of Classificados 1680 a. Host and Produce the Clasificados 1680 show on KNTS (M-F) for up to two hours b. Produce Show elements such as recaps, specials, commercials and promos as designated by the Director c. Post all information given by callers to KNTS website
Must be fluent in Spanish and English. Have working knowledge of audio automation systems, phone screener software, audio boards, audio recording equipment, ISDN and TELCO systems, and remote transmitter monitoring equipment. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet.
Personality Traits: Flexible, organized, team-minded, high-energy individual with good organizational skills. Able to work with little supervision. Excellent written and verbal skills are a must with the ability to adapt to a changing and challenging environment.
