Sunrise Ministries is a growing, healthy, independent church in West Michigan that has been in existence for over 14 years. The church moved into its first permanent building last fall. In a community with “a church on every corner,” we realize there are
still many who need to be reached. Sunrise is called to “Transform the world with God’s grace and love.” We have five distinct pillars that enable us to carry out this mission: To be Biblical, Evangelistic, Authentic, Compassionate, and Thankful. Our vision
for 2018 – 2021 calls us as a church to participate in His mission to transform the world with His grace and love by putting our focus and resources where He is moving. This vision has two areas of focus. First, within our own church community, there is a
growing shift for a deeper desire of God’s Spirit to work and move in our Sunday morning services and in our daily lives. As a church, there are intentional steps we will take that will allow the Spirit to move freely to encourage more Spirit-led living and
discipleship. Second, God is calling us to transform our community. We see God working powerfully in our surrounding community through the lives and ministries of several uniquely gifted, Spirit-led people in ministry positions at Sunrise Ministries. We will
partner with them, focusing our efforts and resources on what God is doing through their ministries.
