ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW

With an average of 5000 members, Christ Church is a leading Evangelical United Methodist congregation with a rich history of faithfully teaching Orthodox Wesleyan theology, developing disciple-making leaders, and establishing missional ministries intentionally reaching beyond the walls of the church into the city and the world.

Sr. Pastor Shane Stanford, who has served in the position for five years, currently leads Christ Church. Pastor Shane’s unique story, dealing with HIV through a blood transfusion as a teenager, has shaped his life and the congregation. With over 700,000 people in the area disconnected to Jesus and a local church, the mission field is vast and Christ Church believes that by developing families on mission, they will participate with God in reaching these individuals.
